June 8, 2012 Makeup Gig

Yesterday, my good friend Jorelli and I had a makeup gig for a wedding. She asked me to assist her since there were 5 ladies to be dolled up. I did the makeup of two lovely ladies and she did the other three.

 This is Michelle. I believe she is one of the sisters of the bride. I used mostly gold and brown on her eyes and added a bit o f black just to define it. Her lashes are so long but we still added falsies for drama. Pink and peach blushes were used for her cheeks and coral lipstick to finish everything.

She's a mother of a cute & makulit little boy so I decided to just keep it light and simple, and she was so shy so this is the only decent photo I have of her.

Makeover: Wowenkho Interns

Since I'm not really doing anything, I decided to give some of my boyfriend's interns a little makeover.

To lift the eyes and give it more dimension, I did this very angled purple smokey eyes on her. And since all the drama is in the eyes, I used Avon Lipstick in Mystic Beige to make her lips nude. 

I used Ever Bilena Stick Foundation in Creme

 After watching MaricarlJanah's video for a camera-ready face, I followed some of her tips there and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I used Nichido Eyeliner in Deep Plum as base for her eye makeup

For Diana, I did a brown smokey makeup look.  The shape of her eyes is so pretty as well as her lips.

I used Ever Bilena Stick Foundation in Creme. I use this foudation a lot because it's really good for photography, not to mention, it's very cheap too. It gives medium to full coverage. Look at the marks and discoloration on her face, it's nearly gone after I applied the foundation. A bit of concealer and now she has a very flawless skin. 

Here I am using a warm brown eyeshadow to create a crease.

Of all the makeovers that I did, this is my favorite. I love everything. From makeup to her hair. I used Krave's Organic Liquid Foundation in Cassata, added a lighter concealer under her eyes and contoured her face like there's no tomorrow!

FX CurlsUp Curl Reviving Mousse (P299.00)

I discovered this product after watching one of Say's (http://saytiocoartillero.blogspot.com/) video. She said this will really hold the curls in the hair. It was in my "to buy" list for a long time and I was so happy when I found it in Landmark (Trinoma). I immediately bought it. Quick review: This is REALLY effective!

Céleteque Sun Care Facial Moisturizer (P150.00)

I'm still using my Myra-E Daily Sun Protect but after I'm done with it, I'm going to try this out. 

James Cooper "Jazzy Collection" Cream Foundation in CF-02 (P550.00)

I finally bought this foudation that I've been eyeing since January. I haven't tried it yet but I've heard a lot of good reviews about this. Say Artillero loves this foundation!

I wasn't planning on buying this one since I already have 2 bronzers from e.l.f. but I was really intrigued with it so I just decided to buy it.

I love me some Krave Minerale products!! I bought mine from CaramelSundaeOnline and the good thing about this online shop is that the seller is my neighbor!! I'm a lucky girl, right? 

Quick review: I have oily skin but when I use the Oil Eliminator and Mist Spritz together, my makeup stays on for a very very long time. No need for touch ups.. AMAZING!!

I've been using the e.l.f. eyelid primer for a long time now and it's working for me, but I wanted to try another primer so I got this. I have to say that this is more effective when it comes to preventing the eyeshadow from creasing.

This brush is so soft and fluffy, I really like it. I have a couple of Jenny brushes. They are very cheap but good quality. They are available in Landmark (Trinoma).

Hair and Makeup: NCBA Fashion Show

Last Saturday (October 1, 2011), I dolled up 3 beautiful ladies of NCBA-Fairview for a fashion show. I used Ever Bilena Foundation, Fashion 21 Loose Powder, Allue Blush for the face. DollFace's Barenaked Palette, Ever Bilena Palette, Ever Bilena Eyeliner and e.l.f. Mascara for the eyes and Avon Lipsticks.

Before and After:

I used bronze and brown for this lady to match her beautiful tan skin.

Mhaila wanted pink smokey eyes and pink lips to match her outfit and pretty shoes.

I used blue and black eyeshadows and pinkish red lipstick to match her outfit.
